One of the first things to do is make sure that you are connected to the various channels at the Department, and in the University.
Graduate student life can be lonely, and many students report feeling disconnected from their peers, and isolated. Below are some things you can do to get to know the people in the Department, and around the University more broadly:
🪪 Introduce yourself - write a short bio of yourself and send it, along with a suitable photo, to the GAA team to get added to the Graduate Student page (and read the bios of your peers!)
