The Department of Educational Studies is based in the Ponderosa Commons North building. Some of the resources that you have access to as an EDST student are based in this building.

UBC’s Vancouver campus has a number of libraries. There is the main library, also called the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. Some faculties also have their own libraries, including the Faculty of Education. The Education Library is located in the Neville Scarfe Building, not far from Ponderosa Commons North.
When you need quiet time to get some work done, there are a number of places around campus you can go.
🛋️ EDST Study Rooms - A number of small (4 person) rooms on the ground floor of the Ponderosa North building which can be used for individual or group study.
🔬 Research Commons - A space in the Ponderosa North building which is restricted to graduate students only.
💫 Graduate Life Centre - A multi-purpose space operated by the Graduate Student Society located in the Thea Koerner House
🚡 GSS Loft - An multi-use space at the top of the Nest building which is restricted for use to graduate students.
