Finding the Right Conference

If you have an idea that you would like to present, or you would just like to go alongt to a conference to see what all the fuss is about, here are some resources we’ve found and made to help you find the right one for you.

Academic Associations

If you’re planning to be within ‘academia’ for the long term, it might be a good idea to look for, and possibly join, some academic associations. Associations, societies, institutes, etc are one of the main ways that academics within a given field keep in touch with each other. One of the main ways they do this is through organising regular conferences (which is why we’re talking about them here). We’ve compiled a list of some of the associations we know of which are relevant for education scholars here:

To help with locating conferences which might be relevant to you, we have put together a database of conferences which we think are broadly relevant for EDST students.
